What we mean by branding

A brand is the system that lets non-designers represent the company without making it look worse. Logos are the easy bit. The harder, more useful work is the rules — when to use which mark, what colours pair, what the body text should feel like, how loud the voice gets in a crisis email.

We deliver brands that an in-house team can run with for years without us. No proprietary plugins, no missing weights, no “you’ll need to email us for the colour values.”

How long does a full identity take?

Six to ten weeks for a proper system. Rebrands of established companies sit at the longer end. Logo-only sprints (no system) can land in three.

Do you do brand-only, or do we have to do a website too?

Brand-only is fine. We hand you a complete identity package with everything a future site builder will need. Most clients come back for the build later.

Will the logo work on dark mode, an embroidered polo and a 16x16 favicon?

That's the whole point of a brand system. Every mark we ship gets tested at small, large, mono, dark and one-colour before it leaves us.
